Charging Your EV on Campus
Did you know UTK offers 27 EV charging stations across campus? There are 22 chargers available for students, faculty, and staff, plus a brand-new “Smart” charger open to the general public (fees apply at this one). Plus, we have 4 additional chargers reserved for UT Fleet vehicles.
If you’re a student, faculty, or staff member, you can get a special EV parking permit at no extra cost when you have a valid UT parking permit. Visitors can park at EV spots with a daily permit valid for up to 4 hours.
For full details on EV parking and permits, visit the UT Parking and Transportation EV page.
