Have a location in mind for a new water bottle refill station? The Green Fee has allocated $40k each year to the installation of new refill stations. Any student, faculty, or staff member can use the proposal form below to request funding for a new one to be installed.
Proposal Guidelines:
- A regular water fountain must already be present in the proposed location
- The proposed location should be at a reasonable distance from other water refill stations or present a compelling justification if it is not
- Priority will be given to locations in the following order:
- High student traffic areas > high faculty/staff traffic areas > buildings currently without refill stations > other areas of campus (ex: outdoor areas, buildings with one or more refill stations that do not meet previous criteria)

Water Bottle Refill Station Proposal
Propose adding a new refill station to an existing water fountain in your favorite campus building. There is $40,000 allocated each year for this. Generally, this funding is only used for replacing existing drinking fountains in buildings with drinking fountains that have the bottle refill station incorporated in them. Outdoor bottle refill stations or bottle refill stations indoors that do not have an existing drinking fountain are cost-prohibitive and would require a Construction Estimate Request and regular green fee proposal.
