Water Bottle Refill Stations

The Green Fee has allocated $40k each year to the installation of new refill stations. Any student, faculty, or staff member can use the proposal form below to request funding for a new one to be installed.

Proposal Guidelines:
  • A regular water fountain must already be present in the proposed location
  • The proposed location should be at a reasonable distance from other water refill stations or present a compelling justification if it is not
  • Priority will be given to locations in the following order:
    • High student traffic areas > high faculty/staff traffic areas > buildings currently without refill stations > other areas of campus (ex: outdoor areas, buildings with one or more refill stations that do not meet previous criteria)

Water Bottle Refill Station Proposal

  • Please list your title/department or your academic year if you are a student.
  • Please include building, floor number, and a nearby room number/landmark.
  • There must be an existing water fountain present for your proposal to be considered.
  • Explain why you think this location would benefit from a water bottle refill station. Items that could be addressed include level of student or faculty/staff traffic, lack of proximity to other refill stations, lack of refill stations in a building, etc.
  • Please upload a picture of the location, as well as any other relevant documentation.
