Student Green Fee Proposal

Have a green idea for campus? 

Every month, the Student Environmental Initiatives Committee meets to review, vote and implement proposals from the campus committee. If you have an idea feel free to stop by our next meeting (see event calendar for dates) or to submit an official proposal to the committee fill out the form below:

Green Fee Initial Proposal

After submitting this proposal, someone from the Office of Sustainability with contact you for additional information.
  • Name of your project idea
  • Include your name, email, phone number, and your affiliation with UT. If you are a student provide your academic year.
  • Provide a brief yet concise description of your proposal. Think if this as you "elevator pitch". This should be between 150-300 words.
  • Provide your name and contact information of those involved in your project (IE advisors). Please include email, phone number, and their affiliation with UT.
  • Provide a brief reason on why you think this is important to add to UT's campus. This could include what made you think of the project itself, who you foresee it to benefit, and how it will help UT reduce its overall carbon emissions.
  • If your project requires funding, provide an estimated budget breakdown below. If not applicable, type "NA".
