RecycleMania is a yearly intercollegiate recycling competition held between nearly 200 colleges and universities.
The goal of RecycleMania is to educate faculty, staff, and students about waste reduction. Schools are ranked against each other based on our recycling, composting, and landfill data in addition to the number of people who get involved with programs.
The Office of Sustainability will be reporting data for the whole two months of the competition in 2020. To encourage recycling rates on campus, we will also be hosting a RecycleMania Challenge between all of the Residence Halls on campus. Each Hall will compete week to week to see who has the highest recycling rate per resident. For more information on how our point system works, check out our RecycleMania Guide.
