UTK Compost Facility Site Tour
Join us for a tour of the University of Tennessee’s own industrial composting facility. This tour will be followed by a video presentation and composting panel (see other listed event). Attend either event or both!
TNCC Video Launch and Panel Discussion
Come join us at the new Agriculture and Natural Resources building at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to watch the release of “The Good in the Garbage” – a short video on the composting industry across the state. Ryan Scott, the film’s director will be on hand to answer a few questions afterwards. Also, there will be a panel discussion with local composting experts discussing the state of composting in East Tennessee: Makenzie Read, City of Knoxville; Ella Dohrmann, UTK; and Kat McDearis, Green Heron Compost.
